LAIKA PARANORMAN #

We made the site for ParaNorman act like a pop-up book, thanks to your smartphone’s gyroscope. #

Created as the interactive component for the release of LAIKA’s second-ever stop motion feature, and rooted in the whimsy of a pop-up children’s book, usiung the site scares the hell out of you (or more likely makes you laugh, as the ghosts aren’t really the “scary ghost” types of ghosts, but more like adorable puppies) when ghosts jump out and say boo from unexpected places as you move your device around.

We made the site to be fully responsive to motion, creating a first-ever physical web experience.
